trica’s sweet baby boy was due a few days after the new year, but i think he was already trying to be kind to his parents and push for that 2013 tax deduction – although some things just happen and little man was born just a few hours into a sparkling new year.
i don’t think there is anything better than starting off a new year with a new baby, especially as one as lovable this one.

we got to take his photos just ten days after he was born and even in the midst of snowy skies, the newborn session was full of life and energy – perhaps because of his big sister, almost two years old.

can you tell, she’s going to be a big helper to mom and dad?

there are lots of way’s to capture newborn sessions, but my favorite is capturing the interaction between the family. a lot less posing, a lot more just being.

sometimes i doubt myself and think i need more props, more fluffy hats, but then when i upload photos and see these, i realize that capturing this moment in time is what i love best.
