i can’t say it enough, hospital newborn sessions make my heart sing.  there is something so beautiful about seeing the family together, embracing their just hours hold bundle of joy – and all the raw emotion that just pours out so beautifully, so unscripted – makes me thankful to be a photographer.

because i’ve always been in love with photography that captures the moment.  the fleeting passage of time, and documenting these moments, the first born moments – oo.la.la.

dear sweet xavier, your mama and dad are so happy to have you here.  and the way your dad just takes over changing diapers, and loving on you – WOW.  he’s a keeper.  but your mama – she is beautiful.  and fun.  and so excited to have you along for this ride we call life.  yes, you scored the jackpot here with these two.

so, without further anticipation, here is the beginning of your sweet little story – thank you for allowing me to capture you and your sweet family.

in case you were wondering, dad grew a beard while xavier was growing, and birth day signified the day of the great shave.  love this tradition – before you know it, dad will be teaching him how to shave.  🙂
