When Carly + Nick decided to get married at a local church in Warrenton, VA and celebrate at a beautiful venue called the Retreat at Eastwood, I was super excited to photograph their evening wedding. Then throughout the process, they decided since their ceremony was earlier in the day, they would change their reception to an afternoon reception. Best idea ever!
Mary-Kate and Daniel, who had an incredibly laid back June wedding, managed to pull off a wedding ceremony at Dahlgren Chapel at Georgetown University, followed by a reception/dance party at Blackwall Hitch in Alexandria, VA. Many people would be frightened by those logistics of moving people back and forth from Alexandria to DC and back, but not these two, everything was just taken in stride!
Hope + Jason’s Alexandria, VA wedding at The Caryle Club was on a crisp November day. They are one of those couples that when you meet them, you know you are going to have a great time at their wedding. Their love for travel, adventure and a close bond with their family were all the icing on the cake that I needed to know that I just had to photograph their wedding!
On a stunningly beautiful Friday in October, Erica and Jeff were married at the Harvest House at Lost Creek Winery in Leesburg, VA. What I love about this venue (and why Erica + Jeff selected it), is that everything is contained in one spot, making it incredibly easy for the guests, while also having a super private ceremony followed by a fun dance party wedding!
Emily + Zach were married on the most beautiful day of April at the Inn at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. Not only was this an amazing location with a chill, relaxed vibe, but the team for this wedding pulled together one of the smoothest wedding days I've ever photographed!
